The International Conference on Indian Classical Dance organized by Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Liberal Arts was a resounding success. The event was attended by renowned researchers, academicians, scholars, and artists from all corners of the globe, all sharing their rich insights and ideas on Indian Classical Dance.

One of the highlights of the conference was the captivating performance by Dr. Swati Dhaithankar in Bharatnatyam and Dr. Pt. Nandkishore Kapote in Kathak, both acclaimed dancers who gracefully showcased their mastery over the classical dance forms. They drew upon their years of experience to deliver stunning performances that left the audience spellbound.

Overview

The School of Liberal Arts, a constituent unit of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (DPU), offers undergraduate programs in Bachelor of Performing Arts in Kathak Dance, Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance & Choreography, Bachelor of Performing Arts in Nrityayoga and Bachelor of Performing Arts in Bharatnatyam.
